Hello everyone, it’s Feifei here. I’ll be writing the blog this week.I wonder if any of you watched the Wimbledon Men’s final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal yesterday. It was apparently the longest match in history at Wimbledon. Nadal and Federer at the French Open in May Some speculated that Federer would not beat Bj**rn Borg’s record of winning the title five times in a row 连续, but many others were eager 渴望 to see Federer winning his sixth championship.Yesterday’s final was delayed and interrupted by the showery 阵雨的weather. The game started at about 3pm Greenwich time and didn’t finish till 9:30pm after five dramatic sets 五盘精彩的,戏剧性的比赛。It wasn’t just a hard game for the players, but a hard game for us to watch. Both Federer and Nadal were trying all they could to win the game. Eventually, the 22-year-old Rafael Nadal has become the first Spaniard since Manuel Santana in 1966 to win a Wimbledon singles title. Nadal celebrated victory in tears I’m not a huge tennis fan, but I do loving watching Wimbledon every year at this time. When I was still in China, I used to stay up till really late to watch the games because of the time difference. But quite often, since tennis was not one of the most popular sports in China, so I had to wait to watch the games the next day when CCTV broadcast 播放 the replay 重播 of the match. As I was watching the live match yesterday, I felt extremely lucky to be in London, to be able to watch a game which was happening only a few miles from where I live in London.I think a lot of you might have started your summer holidays already, so what are your plans? Are you doing any part-time summer jobs? Are you going to travel around the country? Are you going to Beijing to watch the Olympics?Leave me a message and tell us about what you’re up to this summer.Until tomorrow,Feifei
