II.表格类书面表达
表格类书面表达一般以说明文和议论文居多，往往是介绍、说明某种情况、辩论某种观点、看法，但有时也可能是记叙文。
(I)议论文议论文的关键在于要观点明确，主题鲜明，且论据充分，并紧扣主题。要注意主题句的使用，以及一些固定的开始与结尾的模式。
常见的句型：
1.There are different opinions among people as to…, some people suggest that…
2.There is an old saying…, It is the experience of our ancestors, however, it is correct in many cases today…
3.Today,… which have brought a lot of harms in our daily life. First,…, Second… What makes things worse is that…, in a word,…
4.nowadays, it is common to…, many people like…, because…, besides,…
5. Everything has two sides and … is not an exception. It has both advantages and disadvantages.
6. People’s opinions about … vary from person to person. Some people say that …to them…
7. man is now facing a big problem… which is becoming more and more serious…
8. …. Has become a hot topic among people, especially among the young and heated debates are right on their way,…
9. ….has been playing an increasingly important role in our daily life. It has brought us a lot of benefits but has created some serious problems as well…

这是一篇议论文, 可采用二段式论证法. 第一段提出问题(总写), 并用论据进行正反两方面的论证（分写）；第二段用一两句话谈谈自己的看法。
Sample writing :
     Nowadays more and more Chinese people are interested in Guinness records. They say that it’s a pleasure to watch the challenges and they can learn a lot from them. What’s more, the determination of the challengers deserves our respect. Others say that some records which are applied for are meaningless, wasteful and even dangerous for challengers.
In my opinion, we shouldn’t waste a lot of time and money in participating in meaningless challenges but devote ourselves to some interesting, helpful and inspiring activities.
(II) 说明文Example5:前人类面临的最大的环境问题。请你根据以下提示,写一篇英语短文，为“节能减排”献计献策.


本文是一篇说明文，写作要点非常清楚，表达要条理清晰。要求说明“节能减排”的背景、后果、措施等情况，故用一般现在时态并且应用第三人称和第一人称。
Sample writing:
      With the development of economy, more and more greenhouse gases are being discharged into the air. CO2 makes up about 70% of the greenhouse gases. Which is considered to be one of the greatest causes of global warming. It has harmful effects, causing the sea level to rise and many natural disasters to strike.
      For example, snow disasters hit the south of China in the winter of 2007.
      So we must take effective measures to save our planet. First, we should use more clean energy and less coal and oil. Second, we should go to work on foot or by bus instead of driving a car if possible. Third, we should plant more trees, because plants can turn CO2 into oxygen. More importantly, we should form the habit of saving energy in our daily life.
